Embracing the Scottish coffee spirit
(Updated: 25 October 2024)
If you're a coffee lover, mark your calendars for the Glasgow Coffee Festival 2025, held at The Briggait! This festival is not just a celebration of coffee; it's an experience that showcases the best of what Scotland has to offer in the world of brews and beans.
Run by the passionate and dedicated Lisa Lawson from Dear Green, the festival is a testament to her commitment to the coffee community. Lisa has a knack for bringing together the best local roasters, artisanal vendors and coffee enthusiasts to create an atmosphere that is both welcoming and fun. Her enthusiasm is infectious, and it sets the tone for a vibrant event that truly captures the spirit of Glasgow. The Briggait, with its unique blend of historic charm and modern flair, is the perfect venue for this festival.
The spacious layout allows for a variety of stalls and activities, making it easy to explore and discover new favourites. From tastings to workshops, there’s something for everyone, whether you're a seasoned barista or just starting your coffee journey.
Beyond the coffee, Glasgow itself is a fun city to party in. The festival not only highlights the local coffee scene but also embraces the lively culture of the city.
