Understand dispatch, delivery and installation options from Equipment Store
Courier
Dispatching your products
Most grinders and barista tools are delivered by courier
In stock products are dispatched as soon as practically possible after payment clearance. This typically means 1 – 3 working days from completing your order. Parcel typically take 1 – 2 working days to be delivered.
We will provide dispatch confirmation and tracking information upon dispatch.
Orders may be shipped with multiple deliveries.
If you have selected options that are available to Factory Order, we’ll dispatch your items as soon as the product as soon as the shipment arrives into the UK warehouse from the factory.
Occasionally we run low on parts or products. If we foresee a delay outside of the guidance, we’ll get in touch with a revised lead-time.
Storing Orders
It’s best to order well ahead to guarantee availability. We can hold items in the UK warehouse until you’re ready to receive them. Plus, we’ll start your finance package the day we dispatch your items.
The items will be much safer in the warehouse than being stored on a building site. And you benefit from knowing the items are available and ready to be dispatched.
If you want us to hold items, just request a date in the order notes. Otherwise, we will dispatch items as soon as practically possible.

Installation
Getting you set up
Installing espresso machines
Commercial espresso machines are connected to electricity, water and waste. Our installation service is able to connect and set up the machine but not able to perform the pre-requisite electrical and plumbing work.
The requirements vary by product and size, but are typically:
- a counter top hole 50 – 65 mm in diameter positioned appropriately underneath the position of espresso machine (some people opt for two holes: 1x for power, 1x for water & waste).
- an isolator switch or commando socket within 1 meter of the hole on a circuit with ample ampacity (single phase: 32A; three phase 16A).
- a ¾ male water inlet supply 2 – 4 bar pressure with stop valve.
- a washing-machine style 32 – 40mm open gravity drain with trap, plus to prevent blockages the waste should fall with an even, sufficiently step gradient to the sump or have a pump.
The isolator switch and stop value should be readily accessible so the machine can be turned off for cleaning and maintenance (in the back of an adjacent cupboard, for example). And it is prudent to have access to the drain for periodic cleaning.
Specific product installation requirements are available to download on the product’s page.
If you opt for installation, we will be in touch to arrange a pre-installation check. Assuming everything is ready, we will then be able to confirm an installation date. In many cases, the installer will bring the item with them to install.
Factory Order Lead Times
We endeavour to keep the most popular items in stock; some products, versions and options are available as Factory Orders.
The lead-time from order to dispatch depends on the production cycle, the availability of parts and the shipping frequency from the factory. Post-Brexit it is unviable to ship products individually, there are now typically weekly or fortnightly shipments from the factory and shipments take two – five working days.
Typical lead-times
We communicate Factory Order lead-time as averages by brand and product type.
