An oldie but a goodie!

La Marzocco Linea 1ee manufactured in 2000 and in excellent condition throughout. This machine started its life on a yacht in Hong Kong before being shipped over to the UK! Despite its age it still works brilliantly and looks super cool - this is a rare espresso machine which you won't see very often up for sale.

It is a mains feed commercial machine (needs to be plumbed in or connected to a ‘flojet’) but is small enough for domestic use if needed. It uses a 13A three pin plug and is light enough to be lifted by one person. It comes with a built in PID to control brew temperature, a standard water pump and a double portafilter.

The machine was bought with plans to use it commercially but due to a change in circumstances this did not happen. Since buying the machine 2 years ago the steam tip has been upgraded to a 'Slow-Flow' steam tip for better milk control. The hour glass at the front of the machine has also been replaced. The machine has just been professionally serviced (see paper work). Both boilers were inspected during the service and were shown to have no issues with scale. The machine has only ever been used with filtered water.

This is NOT a La Marzocco Mini but a commercial machine and unlike the Mini, it can cope with higher volume throughput without compromising quality. It would also make a very cool domestic machine, if you are able to plumb it in.

NOTE regarding PID:

There is a slight lag on the reading of the PID - the temp fluctuations of the water when measured are normal for most espresso machines, but the reading on the PID doesn't track exactly the same. The water coming out of the group head is the temp you would expect for a machine this size and age, but because the PID was retrofitted there is sometimes a short lag time between the PID temperature reading and what temperature the machine is actually brewing at. This does not impact on the performance of the machine or quality of the espresso.

Due to the weight of the machine this item is collection only (Bristol, UK).
