We are currently incrementally adding new coffee shops from the United Baristas community – please contact Support if you are interested and yet to be invited. The Smart Water Filter Service will open to all coffee companies later in 2025.

United Baristas automatically supplies replacement water filter cartridges, whenever you need one. Never forget a water filter change again and benefit from automatic optimisation of your local water for coffee-making.

The Water Filter service uses Brita IQ technology. The IQ filter head automatically adjusts the filter cartridge to optimise your local water for coffee-making as well as removing deposits to help prevent limescale build up. Within the last month of the cartridge’s working life, we’ll dispatch a replacement cartridge to site. Simply swap the cartridges over and return the spent cartridge for recycling.

Most specialty coffee shops filtering water for espresso require two to three cartridges each year. If you are not sure of your current requirement, pick the most likely option. Your subscription is automatically adjusted based on your water consumption, so you always benefit from the best value tier. For most coffee shops, the Water Filter service is cheaper than buying filters ad hoc, plus your business benefits from a simple, low monthly fee. Minimum 12 month contract.
